NEWS – Piroshky Piroshky, a Russian-inspired bakery, returns to Cincinnati for a one-time popup event. Customers can pre-order their Piroshkies or other baked goods from the bakery ahead of the event date.

Dough-Wrapped Love

Piroshky Piroshky started serving the Russian delicacy in 1992 at Pike Place Market, Seattle. The bakery's vision is to enrich lives by offering unique products as distinct as the cultures and groups that create them.

Since its conception, Seattle’s Piroshky Piroshky bakery has gained fame across different online and offline platforms. For instance, ABC 4 describes the hand pies as a “must-try meaty treat.”

Co-owner Ryan Reese also said the following in an interview with online publishing The Seattle Times:

“We’re all just bootstrapping right now and trying to provide a safe place where people can support community, food, and community businesses."

Owner Olga Sagan even said that she couldn’t believe they’re pulling the idea off. It was because the concept came from a brainstorming session after what she and her staff could do during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Piroshky Piroshky Bakery’s fame even made it to the Smithsonian Magazine’s Top 20 most iconic food destinations in America. It shares the list with other notable establishments like Ben’s Chili Bowl in Washington D.C. and The Varsity in Atlanta.
