NEWS - For those who are still figuring out what to do on Valentine's Day, we understand your dilemma. All the best hotels and restaurants are already fully booked! Don't worry about being stuck in San Francisco traffic, stay in the city for some unique Valentine's activities.

Here are some of the best locations where you can celebrate a day filled with love!

Golden Gate Park

This park literally has it all for you. It's for people of all ages and different interests. And of course, it's a lovely spot for couples, too. You can spend the whole day here and not run out of things to do. Check out the Tiktok video above to give you some ideas.

There are gardens, groves, and lakes to explore, places to eat, and lots of activities to try. Revisit the landmark structures such as the McLaren Lodge, Portals of the Past, and windmills for a great backdrop for your photoshoot.

Do you have a grip on archery? Why not teach your special someone how to shoot an arrow with the use of a bow? It's kind of what cupid did to the two of you. You'll have to stay pretty close to your partner to teach the basics and just let the sparks fly.

San Francisco Botanical Garden

This is also in Golden Gate Park but it deserves to be highlighted during this love-filled season. Be whisked away, caught up with just you and your partner among vibrant flowers and plants from all over the world. Strolling in this 55-acre garden, you'll be amazed by the diverse flora species that have been cultivated right in this city.

Choose a cozy spot from the vast expanse of lawn areas and have a sumptuous picnic. Don't forget to bring a chilled bottle of wine to make it extra special. Cheers!

Fisherman's Wharf

This is another local favorite spot that has various things to offer for everyone.

You can ride the charming cable cars that'll take you to Union Square and back. While you're at it, stop off to explore SF's historic neighborhood.

Back at Fisherman's Wharf, you can share a hot fudge sundae while watching the waves lapping and boats sailing across San Francisco Bay.

Check if you can take the sunset cruise and enjoy the sights of the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island National Park, and Alcatraz while you hold each other close to keep you both warm.

On Thursdays starting at 6 pm, the lights go out so the grown-ups can play and have some fun. It's a different kind of nightlife making for a spectacular date night!

They have a different theme each week that features science, art, and perception. The best part is you can grab a drink at the bar to sip while you're admiring the gallery.

Tease your minds with their interactive exhibits such as the Anti-Gravity Mirror, Disagreeing About Colors, and optical illusions. It's mindboggling, sometimes thought-provocative, and fun all at the same time!

Twin Peaks

For couples who love the outdoors and are willing to do some hiking, this is for you. It's all worth the effort to take the 0.7-mile trail because you'll be treated to an amazing 360-degree view of the Bay Area and a breath of salty air.

It's a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the city and you can relax and focus on each other as you treasure this shared experience.

But it might get a little cold at the top so think of ways to keep each other warm. We'll leave that up to you.

The perfect Valentine's treat for your significant other doesn't have to be in a luxurious establishment or some faraway destination. It is about the moments you both share amidst the seemingly ordinary surroundings that make your Valentine's Day celebration special.
