And now, after an extended closure, it’s back and better than ever, with all-new experiences and attractions that will delight both young and old alike.

However, the theming of this section of Disneyland will still feel as magical as it did, to begin with. There's plenty of nostalgia to go around!

Newly Remodeled Toontown Offers Exciting Experience for Disneyland Guests

The revamped Toontown will feature open, grassy play spaces perfect for relaxing and taking a break between rides. CenTOONial Park is the first space guests will see upon entering the land, and it’s sure to be a hit with families.

Anchored by two new interactive play experiences, the park features a beautiful fountain with water tables designed for play and a dreaming tree with sculpted roots that little ones can crawl and explore.

Thanks to @hellofrenchyy, we can get a glimpse of the fun. One nice thing Disney does for their employees is let them see new rides/remodels before the general public. That also means BTS for those of us on social media.

But the real excitement lies in the brand-new rides and attractions that Toontown has to offer. Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a not-to-be-missed experience, taking you on a wild ride through the unpredictable cartoon world of Mickey and Minnie.

You’ll board a train with Goofy as your engineer and experience a series of magical and surprising twists and turns.

Here's a video of the excitement from TPMVid's official YouTube channel:

You can see how fun this interactive ride is, taking bits of Disney history and reimagining them for 2023.

Guests have loved this ride since it opened in January, bringing excitement to the Toontown area. Of course, this "town" within Disneyland won't open until March 19th, but it's a great start.

This ride was also one of the many ways Disneyland California kicked off the 100-year celebration of the Walt Disney Company.
